Corona (COVID 19) Protocol
Like you, we are absolutely shocked at the rapid progression of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) in Australia and around the world.
We will be putting into place the following measures from Monday 16/3/20
⦁ Card Payments only (contactless preferred) to avoid constant hand to hand transmissions
⦁ We will be moving to serve burgers in takeaway packaging only to reduce risk of contamination
⦁ Removing tables forks/silverware and chilli sauce bottles on tables to reduce cross-contamination risks
⦁ Ensuring Tables are 1 metre apart at our restaurants (at the large share table in Glebe we will be removing stools to ensure customers have space between them)
⦁ Putting hand-sanitisers at the entry and exit of each restaurant (waiting on stock)
What we encourage *you* to do
⦁ Wash your hands before and after eating
⦁ Do not come in if you are sick
⦁ Practice good cough etiquette (cough into your elbows or a napkin – not your hands)
⦁ Delivery and take-away are encouraged. We will be starting a grass-roots campaign today to encourage/persuade delivery providers (Ubereats/Deliveroo/Menulog/DoorDash) to drop their commission rates from 30% to 15% during this period. The hashtag will be #goodfaithrates and ask the providers to voluntarily reduce their commissions to keep delivery sustainable for food businesses.
⦁ Keep spending money with us (or other small businesses!) We still have exorbitant rents and bills to pay, suppliers to pay and staff to employ and provide jobs and wages too. We need your business!
We’ll get through this together everyone. Important things now are to avoid panic, #flattenthecurve of infections to avoid overwhelming our hospital systems, practice social distancing (elbow taps are great!), be good neighbours and keep spending at your local businesses.
